Joy Behar brouhaha over comments:

The site Any Politics ran a headline in February saying, “IT’S OVER: ABC to Give Joy Behar The Boot from ‘The View’ ” TheBlaze.com reports that ABC got more than 300,000 calls complaining about Behar’s comments about Mike Pence, citing the “Media Research Center”. The Advocate reports that the “tiff” proves Pence is as “petty” as his boss.  What’s the real story here? Do any of these sites have reputable or balanced reporting? Are they transparent about their points of view? How much can you trust them? Where can you FIND the real story?

 

Emma Watson’s comments about girls married young:

Emma Watson, in a speech as UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson at a special event for the HeForShe campaign,  said: “15.5 million girls will be married in the next 16 years as children.” What part of this is true? How did you find this out?

 

How many school shootings in 2018?

The nonprofit advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety reported a few weeks ago, after the Florida school shooting, that there have been 18 shootings at schools in the first 45 days of 2018. That number was called into question and debated. What’s the real story?
