Class blogging begins here

This is the excerpt for a featured post.

This blog is where you’ll be doing the majority of your writing this semester. You’ll be required to blog at least twice a week, but feel free to post as much as you like. We’ll go over the specifics in class before you start posting in a couple of weeks.

Although this is a “blog” your posts will need to adhere to the same standards as anything written for publication: Anything that appears here should be ccurate, fact-based, clearly written and engaging. There is room for showing our own writing style and at times for point of view. We’ll look at a lot of examples that illustrate this in the next few weeks.
