University of Michigan -Dearborn gives wrong prices for student housing !
The truth shall always set you free, and truth should always be first. however, that was not the case for the listing of the University of Michigan-Dearborn housing statement. At the time I was trying to research some data for a school project where I referenced the University of Michigan-Dearborn website to check on student housing pricing. The housing on campus is called the Union at Dearborn . It is a privately owned student housing complex managed by UCC management , to house those students that attend the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and those students of Henry Ford Community College.
The University of Michigan-Dearborn has their housing listed at around $1,245 a year to stay on campus. With this being a commuter campus, it is understandable that a lot of students do not particularly take advantage of the student program. However, since it’s initial opening in 2014 the least expensive monthly rate was $500 a month for a 4×4 plan. that would equate to about $6,000 a year. In 2018 the amount has went to $725 for the same room plan. This equates to about $8,700 a year. That is nearly seven times as much that was listed on the website. I think that this is false information , and could lead into worst things because if I were not a resident here, I would not have known factual pricing.
Interesting I have trouble moving into the dorm. I have been told so many things I just stop trying to get into the dorm. That why I have my own apartment I love this story thank you so much
