Ten Tools

There are many tools that are used to collect data, from many sources. One tool that I took an great interest in was Ushahidi. This is an amazing website because it collects data via cell phones to map out where events are happening. This is great because most people have a cell phone. I really liked how Syria Tracker, a humanitarian website, utilized Ushahidi to show reports of different issues occurring to Syrians i.e. the spread of disease, chemical poisoning, and missing/detained individuals. This source gives the ability to get the real story from those who have a cell phone.

Proposal: Black holes and how they affect us or effect us

I have chosen to write my proposal paper on the latest finds and understandings about black holes.

Being that I am majoring in Environmental Sciences, it only right to share the latest discoveries.

WHO: Black Holes

WHAT: Space and our environment: Black holes are outgrowing their stars and galaxies.

WHEN: Currently taking place above us all.

WHERE: In outer space 4.3 -12.2 billion light years away.

WHY: Because it matters! Our lives depend on what’s taking place above and below our environment daily.

When I finish this informative paper, I would have hoped to bring to the reader more awareness about these very important environmental phenomenons and more understanding on black holes in general through created dialog and curated links with facts.

I will be collecting most of my data and information from these collective governmental sites. (Nasa.gov) (Space.com) (Sciencedaily.com) (PBS.org)

I find that these sites stick to the facts and oftentimes they will team up with top universities globally to compare and contrast studies and records with the best equipment and telescopes created.

This could be viewed as fascinating because of the time and era when this book was published , not allow of information was produced about space, and space travel just had  become a process in the works.

Along with his great life, there were some downward spirals that had taken place. Hawking was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis , or (ALS) for short. Despite his physical handicap, it never affected his  brilliant mind, which allowed him to create more new and improved discoveries with in modern day science.

The Attorney General has released statements and personal records regarding the case , and also other pending documents, that are exposed to for public record. This gives great  insight from a first person point of view as to what happened, and them being able to give detail as to what actually had took affect that day. It adds value and more credibility to the story that was generated because of the supporting documentation. With this story affecting the more than just the people that are directly involved in the case, it is easy for the truth of this story to be manipulated by other out sources.
