Bloomberg on my tweetdeck

Bloomberg is an organization that I am following on my social media handle (Twitter).  I was first introduced to the company several years ago as I ventured into the stock market. With my TD Ameritrade App there was a section on the app that had live Bloomberg news.

The tool I am using to aggregate is Tweetdeck .  I believe that Bloomberg’s feed allows for people to look at what is going on in the business world as well as economics and this all depends on which of Bloomberg handles that you follow.

The content on this website that makes it worth following for me is if you are interested in stocks this will be a good place to gather information and stay up to date with what is going on in the business world. The economics Bloomberg Twitter is also great for trading currency. Bloomberg relates information about multiple countries economics. If someone is not interested in stocks then it will still be a good source of information to have on hand.

My social media aggregation accounts

The social media that I have been using for years in my personal life are Snap chat, Instagram, and YouTube. However, I haven’t been using social media in my academic life as much. The social media I have been using to post resources and some of my academic work is Weebly, and I use Weebly as my e-protfolio.

I recently just started using Twitter to follow accounts that will benefit me in my field and area of study which is instructional technology. This is my Twitter account, and I started following pages and accounts that are connected to instructional technology. Also, I started using Tweetdeck to create different lists related to technology and education. I started to use Nuzzel and Feedly to aggregate helpful websites and resources.

Proposal: Black holes and how they affect us or effect us

I have chosen to write my proposal paper on the latest finds and understandings about black holes.

Being that I am majoring in Environmental Sciences, it only right to share the latest discoveries.

WHO: Black Holes

WHAT: Space and our environment: Black holes are outgrowing their stars and galaxies.

WHEN: Currently taking place above us all.

WHERE: In outer space 4.3 -12.2 billion light years away.

WHY: Because it matters! Our lives depend on what’s taking place above and below our environment daily.

When I finish this informative paper, I would have hoped to bring to the reader more awareness about these very important environmental phenomenons and more understanding on black holes in general through created dialog and curated links with facts.

I will be collecting most of my data and information from these collective governmental sites. (Nasa.gov) (Space.com) (Sciencedaily.com) (PBS.org)

I find that these sites stick to the facts and oftentimes they will team up with top universities globally to compare and contrast studies and records with the best equipment and telescopes created.

My Twitter account is new and its allowing me to really zoom in on people, places and arts that I like and so I’ll be sharing more of my scientific side in the near future.

I’m an inventor with a patent pending product and I am also a business owner at Scent2Sleep llc. If anyone has any questions in regards to patents or business in general, LinkedIn is another great way to connect with me. I’ll be more than happy to help where and when I can.

I love arts of all kind as well and so I’ll be sharing more of my own arts with my followers and contacts. Expanding is good when the contacts are with others one can build with, and so I am more private than open when it comes to my private life however, I am fully active for a just cause and for business.

Aggregation for the computer nerd

As many people know by now, I enjoy the tech and video game world. Keeping up with all the new games is a tough task considering you not only have to keep up with the consoles but also the developers and publishers. The tech world is even harder because new advancements are made every day. One way I keep up is through the website Reddit.

Reddit is a site where any topic you can think of has a dedicated page. If you’ve heard of it, so has Reddit. All you have to do to start getting posts about your favorite topics is subscribe to their subreddit. Local news? r/Michigan. Politics? r/politics. Videogames? r/gaming. That is the naming convention Reddit uses, r/ what ever you want. And the subreddit I visit most often, r/pcmasterrace.

pcmr

r/pcmasterrace, or pcmr for short, is the subreddit for all things computer. Originally started as a subreddit to provide information on how to build gaming computers and why they are inherently superior to gaming consoles, pcmr has grown into something quite a bit bigger. A place to show off new computers, new industry advancements, talk about the latest games, and still find advice on how to ‘ascend to the glorious master race’.

pcmr is not purely news, but it is set up like a news paper. Sunday comics, breaking news, ads for businesses and products, and even fluff pieces, you just have to look at the tags. Even better than a news paper though is the ability to discuss the posts with like minded individuals which is done in the comments section of each and every post.
