The  reason  that this mostly stood out to me is  because how I love the Olympic games when I was younger I would watch this all the time every year with family mostly my father I haven’t watch any more after I stop seeing my father, but it does bring back great memories I love the ice skating changes I remember I wanted to be good like the girls I seen in the ring when I was 10-12 years of age.

 

 

Florida high school shooting

The article, Former student opens fire at Florida high school, Killing 17, explained how the shooting happened and who is responsible for it. The shooting happened February 14 at 3:00 pm.

As described in the article, the suspect is a 19 year old former student, and he had been expelled from school last year. As a result of this shooting, 17 people where killed. As the article mentioned, this shooting is considered the “nation’s deadliest school shooting since a gunman attacked an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.”

The fusion table I have created is showing internet and computer use percentages by race. This data was retrieved from the U.S. Census Bureau, where the data was collected on October 2012 and released on January 2014.

The data showed that Asians have the highest percentage of  internet and computer use from home, where African Americans has the lowest percentage of internet and computer access from home.

The of a bobsled is 78.7 MPH

The first bobsled club was founded in St.Moritz, Switzerland in 1897. From there it grew into a sport in the late 19th century.

  • Above is a picture of what the first bobsled looked like along with how the event was ran according to the international bobsled and skeleton federation.
  • In 1923  a four-man race took place at the first winter Olympics. A two-man event was added in 1932.

By the 1950s the sport really began to take shape. Before the 1950s there was no training/practice. It was just open to any rich and adventurous athlete that bought a sleigh.
