Myles Aggregation of Social Media

My name is Myles Barnes, and I am currently on just about all of the major social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat, and Instagram. I usually only post things about my daily life , or things that I am currently doing at the moment. These are some of the profiles of my social media:

Twitter @(Mylesbarnes618)

For my Twitter you will mostly find some of my wild thoughts, pictures of things that i had found comical on social media, or just others people tweets that I had found interesting.

Facebook @(Myles Barnes)

Facebook is a platform where i usually give my all of my inner thoughts too; I stay in contact with many people in which I had a past with such as old teachers, students, and old friends. I have found Facebook to be a place where I am comfortable to vent and express some of my most deepest feelings and comments about things I may be thinking of at the time.

Instagram and Snapchat is where you will usually find the comical side of me. I usually post things that I am doing currently on snapchat with friends, frat, or family, while Instagram I use it best to post that memories that I would like to last. Although very similar, I have found that I am very particular as to what I post on each social media site.

Wildcards are my personal favorites!

I love being able to fully express myself while seeing others do the same.

Wildcard assignments allows for one to focus on something one likes or loves even though it may be a bit odd or eccentric to others.

Crystals of all kind I do Love! I honestly have a huge crush on mother nature in generall because she truly is a daily phenomenon and she holds so much wisdom to behold.

One of my favorite crystals is called a rose quartz crystal and I use them mainly for meditation and healing work. Quartz crystals come in many different variations, shapes and styles and they’re known to emit and or enhance positive or negative energies. What’s astonishing is the fact that the quartz crystals can also hold memory data!

Just look at what ZME Science have to say about it!

“Coined as the ‘Superman memory crystal’, as the glass memory has been compared to the “memory crystals” used in the Superman films, the data is recorded via self-assembled nanostructures created in fused quartz. The information encoding is realised in five dimensions: the size and orientation in addition to the three dimensional position of these nanostructures,” reads a press release.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is on Twitter!

I’m new to the Twitter scene however, I am not at all new to social media. I seem to really like anything environmental especially cosmic based.

Neil Tyson is one of my favorite astrophysics along with the late Carl Sagan. I chose to follow Neil on Twitter because he knows his science stuff, and he has an amazing way of speaking scientifically. If you are interested in outer space and how the cosmos relate and affects us all through astronomy, then you’ll enjoy his Twitter posts and news.pexels-photo-110854.jpeg(free Google art)

Neil Tyson is best known for the Space odyssey where he took many of us on a quest to discover outer space in a creative documentary he did called COSMOS.

Neil took many of us on a 13 part sequel to Carl Sagan’s 1980 landmark television documentary called Cosmos. The Cosmos: A lifetime Odyssey, which was and still is a very informative space odyssey that takes one on many adventures with new discovers to be had.

I really like how Neil Tyson, displays himself; cool, funny and extremely smart. I have followed him on other social media sites as well for sometime now and so I can safely say whoever follows him is in for a informative cosmic treat!

Being biased sure doesn’t pay off

Ethics really does play a big role in one’s everyday communications and overall viewpoints in life.

When journaling or reporting on topics and issues, one’s unique writing skills will be influenced by one’s ethics as well. This is why being non-biased really does play a major part in getting the correct information because facts are a must.pexels-photo-373076.jpeg(free art from Google library)

Being non-biased while reporting allows the writer to focus more on facts than feelings; now don’t get me wrong, I personally believe all stories should have a sense of feeling, but it can also hinder a writers viewpoint. I, myself as a writer, have fallen victim to writing under emotions toward a story which needed more attention on the facts than the overall issue at hand. When reporting, one can easily hinder their own story by not paying attention to being a non-bias and letting their own feeling affect the fact.

I watched a video on how “Jouranalists Minimize their own Bias,” and i found it to be very helpful because it touched on fact checking, credibility and the importance of not being bias when writing.

The FOIA grants the people public access

The Freedom Of Information Act, (FOIA) was established in 1967, which helped to ensure public access of federal, state or local governments records that are needed for use. All requested information collected on each agency by the individual interested must then be submitted to the FOIA once received, this way there’s a public database full of records and information for all to access.

Without the FOIA being established, it would make it very difficult to gather needed information and documentation on specific important issues from governmental agencies like the FDA, DEA, and other agencies like the ACLU, which is an agency that focuses on protecting individual rights like helping to protect young girls and women by reporting sexual assault and harassment in specific locations under the law.pexels-photo-356054.jpeg(free Google picture art)

Federal agencies must disclose all information requested under the FOIA, and I find this to be very interesting to know along with the fact that there’s only nine known exemptions given which protects more than one hundred company privacy laws.
